Teacher Technology Initiative User Agreement
Be the primary user of the computer
Use the computer to support and enhance his or her ability to deliver instruction to students through such things as:
Follow the school district policy and practice for Internet filtering when students use the computer
Use only licensed software on the computer
Not use the computer to operate a business, for illegal activities, or in a manner that would cause harm to the district or to the TTI Program.
Not use the computer to display or save inappropriate material
The teacher will return the computer to the district if he/she becomes ineligible under the TTI guidelines or if he/she ceases to be employed by the district.
All participating teachers will be expected to have their computer at school, on a regular basis, for appropriate school-related functions including, inservice sessions, conferences, workshops and certain classroom activities, etc.
The district will not be responsible for the purchase, installation, maintenance or upgrading of software that is not owned or approved by the district. However, teachers may load professional or personal software on the computer as needed. All software loaded onto these computers must be licensed.
All computers will be covered by school district insurance while on school property. In case of theft, damage or loss, while in the teacher's possession, outside of school, the teacher will be responsible for any insurance deductible.
In the event that your machine does not have virus protection, it is advisable to purchase virus protection for the machine assigned to you.
