1. Open your internet browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer) and find the page you need for your topic.
2. Select the text (click your mouse at the beginning of the line(s) you want and drag it to the right and down until you have highlighted all the text you need.
3. Click the "Edit" menu at the
top of your screen and then click "copy".

4. Minimize (click the minus sign - in the upper right hand corner) Netscape or Internet Explorer.
5. Open a word processing document.
6. Click the "Edit" menu
and then click "paste".

Switch between your word processing
document and Netscape as you copy and paste the text you need.
In Windows 95 and more current operating
systems, the open programs will be displayed on your taskbar.
