• All students and staff must have a signed Acceptable Use Policy on file to use the computers and the internet at school.  Parents may sign the policy allowing computer use, but dis-allowing use of the internet.
• The internet is to be used mainly for educational purposes.  You will occasionally be given free time to browse the net, but most of your time will be spent in areas that relate to your schoolwork.
• Do not type information about yourself or anyone else into any area on the net unless you have permission from your teacher.
• No chat rooms.
• Students may not send or receive email from school machines.  Do not access your personal email (example: hotmail, rocketmail, etc.)
• Do not access inappropriate material.  If you find yourself at a site that is not appropriate for a school setting, click the "back" icon at the top of your screen.
• If an adult tells you to leave a site do so immediately.  No arguments.
• Do not download files, pictures or helper apps to a school machine without permission from a teacher.
