III.         Course Description:

 

This course will cover personal finance, consumer science, time management, the food pyramid and nutrition as related to healthy living as well as meal planning and basic cooking skills. The class will stress independent living, family life, child development, and parenting skills using the "Baby Think it over" dolls. Interpersonal communications, etiquette, resume writing, interview skills and job readiness will also be addressed.
