          Present students with knowledge that Health Education and Physical Education are           inter­related. Students will learn how to develop their own physical fitness program           and attain the knowledge to choose a healthy life style.

Weight Training/Physical Fitness

 

I.        Course Title: Weight Training/Physical Fitness         2 Semesters    2 Credits

 

II.      Course Description:

 

          Students will learn the proper methods of lifting weights and weight training.           Development of individualized weight training and body management programs will           be emphasized. Fitness activities such are running, jogging, and other forms of           exercise will be additional components of the class.

 

III.      Prerequisites:  9th grade physical education/health.
