PARENTS of SENIOR STUDENTS who are applying to college are invited to attend a FAFSA filing meeting in the PHS computer lab on Monday, February 8 at 6:30 p.m.  Amanda Janes from Jackson Community College will be here to guide parents through this financial aid filing process.  Parents will need to bring the following:  2009 Federal tax return, driver's license, social security number, records of untaxed income, recent bank statements and investment information, and Department of Education PIN number (apply for this number at www.PIN.ed.gov prior to the meeting).  Computer space is limited, so parents must reserve a spot by calling Mary Sanderson, Guidance Counselor, at 523-3481 ext. 251 by Wednesday, February 3 if planning to attend.

NovaNet Credit Recovery for high school students has begun and will run weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Students who have credit(s) to make up toward graduation and/or have subject areas credit(s) to make up for the Michigan Merit Curriculum should see Mrs. Sanderson, Guidance Counselor, to enroll as soon as possible.  The cost is $50 per credit.  Call Mrs. Sanderson at 523-3481 ext. 251 with any questions.
